Local District Northwest
In addition to the District and Smarter Balanced Resources, Local District Northwest offers its own Resources and lessons for your department PD and planning time. Included are PowerPoint's with notes on Demystifying the Curriculum Maps, SBAC Claims and Planning with the End in Mind the Strategies Toolbox, an interactive link to 24 researched-based strategies that develop habits of mind and help all students accomplish the skills of the California Literacy Standards.
Smarter Balanced offers the Digital Library. This is an online tool that provides lessons, tutorials, and more for the classroom. It is designed to be used to design ongoing formative assessments that support the summative exam for SBAC.
